Scottish Thistle Signet
This modern chunky signet ring features the famous Scottish thistle with a frame of Celtic knot work.
The Scottish thistle was adopted as the emblem of Scotland during the 12th Century when Norsemen invaded under the cover of night, taking off their shoes in order to creep up stealthily. Unfortunately for them, this humble but spiky weed grows abundantly in Scotland and the clansmen were alerted to the presence of the Norsemen. The Clansmen of course, won the ensuing battle.
Your ring will be solid Sterling Silver with a ring face of 19mm and a textured stippled background.
This ring is customisable with an inner inscription up to 25 characters.
Please allow two weeks for the creation of your ring as it will be made to order with love.
