How the Custom Process Works
If you have an idea for a custom piece of jewellery and believe I may be the person to make it for you, just get in touch! I love to make custom pieces, in fact, I’m always amazed by the creative and meaningful ideas proposed to me by custom clients.
Firstly we will chat about your idea so I can let you know if I’m the right person for the job. I have a certain style and set of skills that doesn’t translate to everything but if it’s in my skill set and style, I’ll be down to bring your idea to life! If you’d like a ring, you’ll need to find out your ring size. Just pop down to a local jeweller and ask them to do it for you.
I will look into your idea and let you know how much it will cost including shipping. If you’re happy to go ahead, I will send you an invoice to your email which is payable by PayPal, credit/debit card or Afterpay.
After the invoice is paid, I will begin designing your piece of jewellery based on all of the information you have given me. You will receive digital renders showing your design from different angles and with dimensions added so you can get a really good visual idea of what your piece will look like. You’ll have the opportunity at this point to make any alterations if necessary. The designing phase usually takes between 3 to 10 days depending on how busy I am and how complex the design is.
Once you are happy with your design and I have the go ahead from you, work will begin on making your piece of jewellery. The time frame for this will depend on what you are having made. If there are special processes that must be outsourced or gemstones coming from overseas for example, this adds a little time but generally you’re looking at two weeks.
Once it is complete, it will be carefully packaged and posted and you will be given your tracking details.
